Anita Lerek is the President and founder of Planet-Legal. Anita is driven by quality and long-term solutions and she is passionate about achieving the best results for clients and lawyers.Anita is also the founder of Planet-Legal parent company, Advocate Placement Ltd., a lawyer recruitment company, that has provided services for over 20 years. She has a wealth of legal screening experience and extensive connections in all areas of the legal community.
Prior to her career in legal recruitment, Anita practised as a solo practitioner specializing in employment and trademark law.
Anita is a published poet and has a strong attachment to history, especially Holocaust and human rights studies. Anita is married to an archivist, and they share a passion for art and jazz.

Jasjeet Kaur Gill is a front-end developer at Planet-Legal. She attended Guru Nanak Dev University where she obtained a Bachelor in Computer Applications. Jasjeet enjoys listening to all types of music. She is an avid reader and also loves to garden and paint.

Le Kien Phan is a full-stack web developer at Planet Legal. Le has a Bachelor of Arts in Technology Information from Hoasen University. Le is a huge soccer fan and his favourite team is the Arsenal. He listens to EDM (electronic dance music), and dabble in photography.
Ben Sherman
Lawyer
Ben Sherman is a lawyer helping with the design, content and marketing of Planet-Legal. He attended Western Law and has a background in Political Science with Computer Science experience. Ben has an expertise in protecting intellectual property. When not working he is a voracious reader and tech tinkerer who also enjoys fishing and hiking.

Benjamin Mak is a partner of Ridout & Maybee LLP in the firm’s Toronto office. His practice is principally directed towards patent drafting and prosecution, with an emphasis on electrical, mechanical, biomedical, and computer related technology.
