Planet-Legal is a website designed to help individuals, organizations and lawyers seeking assistance with sourcing legal professionals.
The following Privacy Policy (“Policy”) applies to your use of Planet-Legal’s website and services. If you do not agree to any part of the Policy you can withdraw your consent by no longer accessing our website and requesting your account be deleted.

Any information you choose to disclose in such a post is no longer considered personal information and is not confidential. This information may appear elsewhere online and may be internet searchable. It is your responsibility to protect your privacy by not revealing identifying information within user posts.

      1. We employ industry standard procedural, physical and electronic safeguards to ensure all information you transmit to us remains secure and confidential. All information sent or received through our website uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption. Despite these safeguards no information transmitted online can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and so use of our website is at your own risk.
      2. Please keep the password you use to access our website in a safe place and do not share it with others. Logout of the account after you are finished especially if using a shared computer to ensure the security of your account.
    2. Retaining, Updating and Deleting Information
      1. We respect your right to control your personal information. If you no longer wish to have your information stored on our services, please send us an email at webmaster@planet-legal.com. We will remove your personal information within a reasonable time after receiving your request, save and except for information that we are under a legal obligation to retain. Note that you will be unable to access any unused services afterwards..
      2. We strive to ensure all the information we have is accurate and up-to-date. If you wish to update any information provided to us, you can do so by emailing webmaster@planet-legal.com with the appropriate details. You can request that we send you a copy of your personal information, although we retain the right to limit disclosure of your personal information if it may compromise the privacy of another user.

      1. All payments are processed through PayPal’s Web Payment service which includes PayPal accounts or credit cards. Planet-Legal does not receive or have access to payment details provided to PayPal except for basic identifying information which allows us to associate the payment with your account. We suggest users refer to PayPal’s privacy policy before using their service to make a payment.
    6. Email and Email Notifications
      1. We retain your email address in order to provide you with notifications you have requested and to send occasional marketing emails at our discretion. We will not sell or provide your email to any third-parties without your consent. At anytime you can request we remove your email address from our database. Please note a reduction in services may result.
      2. Email is not a secure method of communication and may be intercepted, modified or lost. We cannot be held liable for any personal information you send us by email in the event it is intercepted, modified or lost.
