Arranged Legal Consults
For all practice areas including initial consultation for dealing with or switching lawyers; fee disputes. For second opinions, independent legal advice, and self-represented litigant guidance.
We will arrange a legal consultation with a consenting licensed lawyer in your target practice area and location.
This service is curated by Advocate Placement, a recruitment firm with over 25 years of experience and parent of Planet-Legal.
From the Planet-Legal database of subscribed lawyers (no fee), backed up by the vast database, contacts, and know-how of Advocate Placement Ltd.
Planet-Legal recruitment experts select one lawyer for you vetted for suitable experience to match the legal need outlined in your form and vetted for regulator compliance. The contents of the form are only shared with Planet-Legal and the selected lawyer.
A one or two-hour universal flat fee will be charged for any lawyer consulted irrespective of level or area of experience or location. The fee is payable in advance of consultation, and includes both the lawyer’s fee and the Planet-Legal recruiting fee. As the lawyers’ agent, we pass on to you in advance a lower legal fee in return for providing security of payment to the lawyer.
You will receive instructions by email, within two hours of payment. The format, whether face-to-face, email, phone, etc will be determined by mutual consent.
Going through Planet-Legal and Advocate Placement assures you of a recruiter- vetted lawyer selected from a comprehensive pool of candidates. Advocate Placement has a long, trusted record of recruiting lawyers. You are not settling for the nearest, cheapest, or most visible lawyer. Lawyers pay us no fee to reach you, so merit governs. You are assured a fixed, reasonable fee for the initial consultation.
No warranty that lawyer will agree to represent you in the present or any other legal matter. No replacement and no refunds. After the initial hour(s) charged, Planet-Legal has no further involvement, and the terms of any further consultations are to be arranged directly between you and the lawyer. See our Terms and Conditions page for further details.
